Who doesn't love fashion week? It is the last day of Toronto Fashion Week and guess who isn't going to miss it, me. As we all know, Greta Constantine will be closing the Toronto Fashion Week by 8pm tonight. I decided to skip as enough people will be celebrating with Greta Constantine over their profound success. Let's just say so, while everyone is looking to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Greta Constantine, I decided to support Maram instead. I decided to support her because she's certainly one to look out for in the near future.
Maram actually means 'aspiration.' Maram was founded by the designer, Maram Enein. I am interested in her collection because she is very much inspired by the likes of Pierre Balmain and Zac Posen. Her love of ethically traditional craftsmanship with touches of fur and a little bit of culture to go along with, is the reason why other designers should watch out for her.
She is young, an unconventional woman and she has intriguing designs. I am confident her work will take her to all corners of the globe. Also, I would like to say congrats to Greta Constantine.
