Life Goes by so fast!
I can’t believe it’s been two years and I can’t accept I am 24 already. I planned on taking a break from blogging but couldn’t have imagined I would necessitate such a long break.
So why did I leave?
I simply did not have the right frame of mind to be honest. It made sense to work on myself, think, reflect, and then be back.
I don’t know if this is a thing, but I think millennials in their early 20’s experience depression at this point in their lives. Depression is not something I thought I would experience, it’s not something I thought I would speak on, but it’s something I have gone through, and hopefully prevailed.
How do you deal with depression?
To be honest, everyone will have their different way(S) of handling depression. Depression is something people take or have taken lightly, including me. If you don’t seek appropriate help, this could affect your day-to-day activities which include; the relationship you have with people, your stress level being incomprehensible, accelerated anxiety, mood swings, and being an overall emotional rollercoaster. I certainly dealt with depression by having my “ALONE” time, always voiced out my pet peeves, always being angry, and got myself engaged in something; job, a new hobby, and so on.
Thank God I got my mojo back!!! I certainly got my confidence back, I currently strive to be better, and I am looking forward to building a new future for myself.
What will I blog about?
This blog will be eye-opening - nothing complex, a little bit political. I will write about food/fine dining, and I am going to be travelling a lot in 2019 so be ready to get insights on how to dress/travel on a budget and still look expensive.
If you think life has no meaning then we might have something in common, so sip your tea and start reading!
