Have you ever had a long term daily wig? If so, how many months have you had it for? I have had mine for 2 years and it still looks beautiful, thanks to these solutions.
Formula 1: Use a professional stylist
My lazy and affordable days. I remember just walking to the salon like a G and telling her I needed my wig fixed. She was professional, knew exactly what to do to revive the wig, and to my surprise it looked good. Check my Las Vegas pictures.
Formula 2: Deep condition & steam
This part is probably self explanatory. All you need to do is choose the right choice of moisturizing conditioner, I use Nywele. After this, you steam the hair in a wrap for 45 mins. Wash the hair with warm water, air dry, and flat iron once dry.
Formula 3: Bleach bath
I tried this treatment when there was no other option for me. I had deep conditioned so much I was tired, the professional stylist was always giving me a hair cut, all to no avail. The hair began to tangle, the ends were just nothing to write home about.
All I could think of was just YouTube. I knew other people would have been in my situation, so I google how to revive a wig, hence the title. After researching, I boiled water and added a little bit of bleach inside, mixed it well before adding the wig for approximately 5 mins. After that, I added vinegar into a fresh bucket of water and waited for approximately 10 mins. Then I shampooed, conditioned, air dry, and styled as normal.
These treatments totally changed my wig. I mean, who would see this wig and think it's 2 years old? If your wig is giving you stress, please try this and I promise you, you will not regret it.
